Acknoledgement

VRScilab is written for Scilab, which implements all scientific and matrix manipulations. The Scilab team and Inria deserve our unstinting gratitude for this marvellous piece of software.
The VRScilab GUI is written in Tcl/Tk, another marvellous language. It has been said that the invention of Tk in graphical interface terms is comparable to the invention of fire in human terms. We hope that you will be able to appreciate this through your experience of using VRScilab.
We would also like to thank Mark Hilton, Language Advisor at Xiamen TV, for the help he has given us with English language questions at various times during our work.
Thanks are also due to Stewart Allen. VRScilab's balloon package, the structure of the main program and the solutions to some detailed technical problems were all arrived at through careful study of his program Visual Tcl.
Thanks go to Jean-Luc Fontaine, it was on the basis of his undoer.tcl code, that we developed the undo/redo mechanism of codeEditor.
Finally, we thank the Computer Science Department of Xiamen University, as without their support and help, VRScilab would never have seen the light of day.
